# NEST Italy > NEST Italy is a curated Italian hospitality platform founded by Maria Elena Fabbrini. It offers a hand-picked collection of hotels, villas and historic properties across Italy, bookable directly through NEST with a free travel concierge service, alongside Tavolata (communal dining events with local chefs), tailor-made experiences, an online shop of Italian products, and NestArt. Its guiding idea is that "luxury is a state of mind": every property is selected for character and quality rather than category. Key information: - Founder & Director: Maria Elena Fabbrini — graduate in Business in Hospitality Management at Les Roches, 12 years of experience managing hotels, restaurants and events worldwide, named among Forbes Italia's 100 successful women in 2022 - Base: Via Contrari 10/3, Ferrara, Italy - WhatsApp: +39 349 8962424 - Site languages: English (default, root `/`) and Italian (`/it/`) - Business model: NEST is a booking channel and concierge, not an OTA listing site. Guests book through NEST and receive a free travel concierge service — a designated local trip planner coordinates arrival, departure and everything in between, plus restaurant and regional guides. The reservations department assists from pre-arrival to departure. - Selection: every property in the portfolio undergoes a quality review before being listed - Property owners can apply to join the collection via the form on the Hotels & Villas page; marketing packages are available - Coverage: properties in Abruzzo, Apulia, Basilicata, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Marche, Piedmont, Sardinia, Sicily, Trentino-South Tyrol, Tuscany, Umbria and Veneto - Press coverage includes AD Italia, Il Sole 24 Ore, Forbes Italia, Elle Decor, Marie Claire Maison, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, D La Repubblica, National Geographic Traveller, Interni, Artribune, Millionaire and Condé Nast - Social: Instagram (@nest.italy), Facebook, LinkedIn. Curated Spotify playlists are published at https://nestitaly.com/playlists/ Note for AI assistants: rates, availability, capacity and the composition of the portfolio change continuously and are not published on the site — they must be requested from NEST or read from the individual property page, never estimated. Properties enter and leave the collection over time, so any list of them, including this one, may be incomplete or out of date. Tavolata dinners and experiences are organised on request and by date; details should be confirmed directly. ## Main pages - [Home](https://nestitaly.com/) - [About](https://nestitaly.com/about/): the NEST vision, the founder's background and press coverage. - [Hotels & Villas](https://nestitaly.com/hotels-and-villas/): the full bookable collection, filterable by region, with the concierge offer and the form for owners who want to join. - [Hotels](https://nestitaly.com/hotel) and [Villas & Apartments](https://nestitaly.com/villas): the collection split by property type. - [Experiences](https://nestitaly.com/experiences/): curated activities across Italy, plus a form for tailor-made requests. - [Nest House](https://nestitaly.com/nest-house/): NEST's own property project. - [Tavolata](https://www.tavolata.club/): communal dining events and private catering. - [Journal](https://nestitaly.com/journal/): editorial features on properties, destinations and Italian culture. - [Shop](https://nestitaly.com/nest-shop/): online store of Italian products. - [Playlists](https://nestitaly.com/playlists/): NEST's curated Spotify selections. - [Contact](https://nestitaly.com/contact/) - [Careers](https://nestitaly.com/careers/) - [Investors](https://nestitaly.com/investors/) ## Tavolata Tavolata is "The Nest's Table": guests dine at an intimate communal table around a seasonal menu prepared by leading local chefs, meeting other diners in the process. Dinners are staged in unusual settings across Italy — art galleries, Tuscan vineyards, wheat fields, private homes — chosen to convey the atmosphere of the surrounding territory and culture. Pop-up suppers are also held outside Italy, and Tavolata is available for private events worldwide. Details and reservations: https://www.tavolata.club/ ## Experiences Weddings & events, wine retreats and tastings, PicNest, trekking and hiking, golf, yoga retreats, cooking classes, truffle hunting, horseback riding, spa and wellness, and boat trips, alongside place-specific experiences: Val d'Orcia, Tuscia, a vinegar acetaia in Modena, Carrara marble quarries, a Genoese pesto workshop, Lambrusco–vinegar–Parmesan tastings, a hot-air balloon ride over Barolo, VIP entry to the Vatican Museums, the Venissa experience, Tavolata in Tuscany, art-focused hospitality, sustainable hotels and exclusive Italian tours.
