The rooms
The nine rooms of our luxury country resort Locanda in Tuscany in Castiglione d’Orcia, are arranged with furniture and colors that might offer harmony and relax to your stay. Some of them also have a patio facing our gardens, while others offer a view of the valley. The huge windows, looking out over the amazing Val d’Orcia, will offer you a unique experience and a landscape you will never forget.
The rooms of the resort are divided into five categories: Deluxe, Deluxe with view, Grand Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite. Guests can either stay in the main building or in the typical dependance, both located within the gardens. The style is essential, elegant, with very bright, sober and harmonious colors, giving the rooms a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.
Even your sleep can be personalized: before your arrival you will be contacted to choose if you prefer to sleep and dream folded in linen or cotton sheets.
The Restaurant
The restaurant is typically Tuscan: passion, quality and taste meet in each one of the dishes created by the Chefs. The restaurant is right in front of the swimming pool and has a splendid patio for the warmer days, with 180° view over the village of Castiglione d’Orcia.
The quality of the food is not sought only in terms of the choice of ingredients, mostly organic, seasonal and almost exclusively local, but is also the result of the passion of our chefs and the use of traditional Tuscan cooking techniques.
