  • Rainbow Ceramic Jar, Frantoio Muraglia

    29.00
This terracotta olive oil jar preserves all the flavour and aroma of the extra virgin olive oil.
Contains Medium Fruity Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Two great Apulian traditions – making olive oil and creating decorated vases – have come together in these Frantoio Muraglia Jars. The company’s iconic oil jars are entirely hand-made by artisans here in Apulia who deploy their skills in shaping the clay, kiln-firing and then painting the resulting vessels entirely by hand. Each one is unique.

The Apulian tradition of crafting decorated vases meets designer creativity: both come together in our colourful Jar Collection, each brightly coloured jar containing an oil of incomparable consistency, colour, flavour and aroma.

The Rainbow Jar is a true style icon.

    500ml size.

    Frantoio Muraglia

Frantoio Muraglia was born in Andria, capital of the Apulia oil region, five generations ago, but the real family patriarch has watched the seasons come and go for no fewer than 450 years – a majestic coratina olive-tree, a native cultivar whose wealth of polyphenols is almost unmatched among the 538 classified Italian varieties. The history as oil producers begins with this green giant that stands tall over our olive groves – some 40 hectares in the uplands of Murgia.
Frantoio Muraglia tries to preserve the biodiversity of the agricultural landscape and to protect the plants of strategic importance for their supply, such as the olive trees themselves. They still pick the olives by hand and press them cold in the ancient stone press. The goal is always to make the finest Italian extra virgin oil, absolutely without compromise.

  • Small Ceramic Plate Pane & Olio, Frantoio Muraglia
