Rich in history and surrounded by pristine nature, this timeless village has been brought back to life by Milanese entrepreneur Barbara Varese, who, alongside her daughters Eleonora and Giorgia, undertook a meticulous restoration of their ancestral home—blending sustainability, architectural integrity, and the revitalization of the entire borgo.

The name “La Bursch”, meaning “the house” in ancient Walser dialect, reflects its essence: a place of warmth and belonging. Today, it is a refined Country House where every room tells a story—each space curated with objects gathered through the family’s travels, revealing a personal narrative through design and detail.

The sixteen rooms available at the property are meticulously designed and presented as part of a journey through distant worlds and ancient cultural heritage. Each one offers guests a quiet and refined luxury, where comfort and tranquillity are elevated by an atmosphere of timeless wonder.
