Villa La Monteduccia
The first construction of the main building dates back to the end of the 1600s. Born as a “fortified house”, in the following centuries, it was converted in an inn to offer lodging to the pilgrims headed to Loreto. Since the second half of the 19th century, the noble owners transformed it in a beautiful farmhouse, then expanded in the course of the years until the current appearance.
The Villa, arranged on three floors, welcomes you at the entrance with a wide central living room, where in the background, stands out the mesmerising original billiard table from the 20s of the last century, completely restored. On the left of the living room, there is the large dining room and another living room with a stone fireplace, while on the right of the central living room, we have the beautiful wooden two-leaved door that opens on the kitchen. On the first floor, there are five bedrooms which three of them with a own private bathroom, and another large common bathroom. Lastly, in the attic has been we have a splendid suite with a view on the village of Ostra Vetere.
The villa boasts 2 additional dependances. The first one of the two outbuilding presents a wide window that overlooks the beautiful view of Ostra Vetere and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room and the kitchen with the handmade terracotta floor. The second outbuilding opens on the large living room with a beautiful fireplace that hides in a unique way the kitchen. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms complete the framework. The view is really suggestive: behind the soft marchigian hills, you can also see Monte Conero.
La Monteduccia is also the ideal place to arrange dream like weddings. Its style and spaces give many opportunities to create a unique event. The silence and peace that linger in the air, make La Monteduccia the ideal place to also arrange meeting, courses and business events.
Located in a strategic position in the middle of the soft marchigian hills, La Monteduccia stands between Senigallia beaches and the beautiful Sibillini mountains in the hinterland. Starting from here is easy to reach the most amazing and interesting places of the region, like for example the village of Arcevia with its castles, the Castello di Gradara, the theatre of the famous Dantean love story of Paolo and Francesca, or also Urbino, the hometown of Raffaello Sanzio.
