These charming rooms are tucked in amidst our labyrinth of whitewashed cocciopesto walls, brilliant with sprays of bougainvillea. Once you step inside, the atmosphere is cool and quiet, with the original chianca stone floor and a pleasant simplicity of design. Colour comes with woven floral cushions and bedsteads, or a green velvet chair. The furniture is classic, a rich chestnut armoire, perhaps a handmade lace runner matched with refined touches like the excellent espresso machine. You might be coming in after an evening of wedding celebrations in our piazza, or strolling back after dinner by the pool, but close the door and pause, you will find these rooms resonate with the past life of the masseria.
