Set among the vineyards and rolling hills of Umbria, Fonte Sala is a family-run agriturismo that reflects the authentic agricultural character of the region. The estate features a swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and five independent apartments overlooking the garden, furnished with family antiques and equipped with all modern comforts.

The family cultivates the estate’s twelve hectares using certified organic methods, a practice in place since 2015. Six hectares are dedicated exclusively to Sagrantino, a prized native Umbrian grape variety. Harvested usually in October, its distinctive red leaves are also supplied to Aboca, a leading Italian company specialising in the production and processing of medicinal plants, since 2016.

The estate is also home to 750 olive trees of the Leccino, Frantoio and Moraiolo varieties. Their olives produce the estate’s own olive oil, provided to guests in every apartment and available for purchase in bottles and tins.

Fonte Sala offers five independent apartments, each combining the character of historic architecture with the comfort of a private residence. Set within the estate’s main building or in separate cottages surrounded by olive trees, the accommodations feature original architectural details, fireplaces and antique furnishings. Each apartment overlooks the garden and includes an equipped kitchen and a private outdoor patio, providing a welcoming setting to experience the authentic atmosphere of the Umbrian countryside.
