Praia Art Resort
The Praia Art Resort is a 5-star resort located in Praialonga, a hamlet of Isola di Capo Rizzuto (province of Crotone) entirely created by local Crotone artisans through the use of natural raw materials of the area (such as wood, rock, clay,… ), a hymn to resilience and sustainability.
Located a few meters from the Isola di Capo Rizzuto Marine Protected Area, the largest marine reserve in Italy, the structure has 31 accommodations including villas, suites and rooms; a swimming pool surrounded by pine trees; a green garden; the private equipped beach just 20 meters from the rooms and two restaurants, the Pietramare Natural Food, one Michelin star and the Osteria del Mare… all surrounded by nature.
An integral part of the project is art, the approach to matter and the reuse of waste materials, which in the expert hands of Crotone craftsmen become precious resources as well as real works of art: the Sentinelle del Mare, our vases earthenware; ancient presses, restored fishing boats, unique pieces of art, ceramic and hand-painted tiles.
A traditional cuisine in a gourmet key, the Pietramare Natural Food
With the intention of offering and exporting a Calabria that is both biodiversity, maritime and rural culture, but also sustainability and resilience, the Pietramare team is made up of the Residence Chef, the architect and Executive chef Raffaele Vitale and the botanist Dr. Carmine Lupia , with the intention of offering a traditional identity cuisine, which comes from the study of the territory.

The poolside restaurant is located in the relaxation area of the Resort, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
With the same philosophy of the Pietramare restaurant in search of the best raw materials and the territory but with a more informal spirit.
Its food and wine proposal is the rediscovery of the peasant and seafaring culture of Calabria in a daily and family key. Poor fish and vegetables make up the main part of the menu.
A suggestive location made of ecological materials such as wood and glass that blend in perfect harmony with the Mediterranean nature of the Ionian coast. Here you will be able to enjoy a state of the art breakfast every morning.
