This villa was created from a renovated farm building. It’s beautifully located on top of a hill overlooking the estate, and is 150 metres away from the main building. It has three separate spaces with a living room, bedroom and nook. Sloping wood-beamed ceilings, and the unique feature of a fossilised lava flow incorporated in the living room make this villa an unforgettable place to stay on Mount Etna. The bedroom has a contemporary four-poster, king size bed and works of art that interact with traditional Sicilian furniture and design elements. The living area has a fireplace and a large sofa bed, which can accommodate a third guest. The bathroom offers a large shower and all the bathroom fixtures.
Minimal design furniture, works of art and antique Sicilian tradition furniture give the unmistakable and unforgettable style of the Retreat. Like all its Villas, the private garden is the real plus point: it’s a lovely place to spend time in nature in peace and quiet, as it is located away from other accommodation. The garden is a natural terrace with an uninterrupted panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea and the vineyards of the estate.
