This Bio Resort is a small, ancient farming hamlet dating back to the 18th century, now carefully and skillfully restored and transformed into a splendid residence of extreme elegance. It is located within an “Azienda Agricola”, a vast expanse of over 18 hectares, occupied by a flourishing organic cultivation of Olives, Aloe Vera, Wheat, Grapes and a wide variety of medicinal plants.

In 2012, the meticulous restoration of the old farming village, now a charming masseria, recaptured the design of yesteryear and the most authentic taste of Salento tradition.

From guided tours of the cultivations, to the olive harvest, the grape harvest and the extraction of pure Aloe Vera gel, the Bio Resort proposes a concept of experiential tourism, strongly connected to the territory and Nature.

The meticulous renovation of the 18th-century farming village has brought the farmhouses back to life and turned them into enchanting suites, where the architecture of times gone by and the most authentic details of the local tradition stand out: from terracotta artefacts to handcrafted textiles and rustic furniture.

The cuisine, inspired by Tradition, stems from a concept of organic, healthy agriculture where all our biodiversity and the genuineness of our vegetable garden is expressed. It is the chef himself who takes guests on a walk through the plants, picking and carefully selecting the vegetables that will be the main stars on the table. The organic vegetable garden covers about 2,100 square metres of rich, unspoilt nature, a land of colours and flavours that change with the natural rhythm of the seasons. A vegetable basket, cultivated with care and dedication, free of fertilizers and chemicals, where every vegetable grows richly in its natural habitat.
