Allegra and Valeria met as law students in Strasbourg around 20 years ago but it wasn’t until 2012, after careers in law and bringing up young families in Venice and London, that they decided to launch Once Milano, a modern interpretation of traditional linen, with the aim of re-inventing Italian homeware. €300.12This pattern is the result of our research on matt reacting glazes that are quite hard to be achieved. Its making features the use of materials such as iron oxides and zinc that during the firing trigger unique and original reactions. The brown

Nuove Forme uses tailored pottery’s manufacturing and unique textures. Its history goes back to a region close to Florence, Lastra a Signa and Signa’s area, an area well known for soil production. The production is varied and unique. It comes from Alvino Bagni’s cultural and artistic expertise. Knowledge he passed down to Gianfranco Ghiretti and his granddaughter Maria Chiara. Nuove Forme boasts a lasting cooperation with local craftsmen who create gypsum and lathe models and implements and expands on these models to guarantee the reliability and quality of the semi-finished product. The stages of glazing, decoration, firing and packaging are directly on company premises.

Embossed Vase, Nuove Forme
€307.44Vase with horizontal embossed stripes, entirely made by hand and featuring a decoration with a series of textured enamels put one on another in order to achieve a specific raw and natural effect. The content of marble powder in the enamels contributes to create this unique texture. Its chromatic palette was inspired by old works from Ceramiche Bagni.

Ferns Vase, Nuove Forme
€312.32This pattern belongs to the Bagni archives heritage but since it was impossible to be reproduced using current raw materials it was in some way totally reinterpreted, by putting all our know-how and endeavours in it. The design is made with the graffiti (embossed) technique and it replicates the original pattern but the development of the chromatic palette, organic and purposely imperfect, it was recreated and obtained after a long work of research
and 3 different firings.Handmade in Italy

Green Notched Bowl, Nuove Forme
€329.40This large plate is inspired by the classic “organic and material” pieces of some 70s ceramics. His engravings are entirely handmade by the turner who, using a special stick, creates the geometric design in the fresh earth. It is then completed with a finishing glazing mixture rich in minerals that creates a captivating motif of small textured dots.
