Maria Elena Fabbrini

At the age of 19 she moved to live in New York to study and to do an internship in an art gallery in Chelsea. Two years later she decided to start studying Hospitality and Resort Management in Australia at the Blue Mountain Hotel School of Hotel Management. She then graduated in Business in Hotel and Restaurant Management in Les Roches Marbella.

She worded at the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona in the Catering Department, Four Seasons Hotel Florence in Sales and Marketing and at Rocco Forte Florence in F&B. After she became Restaurant and Operations Manager for Cipriani in Ibiza, Venice, Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Dubai and London. At just 29 years old she became Deputy Director of Operations for Sketch in Mayfair and in the 2020 she decided to return to Italy to better represent her Country. Thus Nest Italy was born.

Mario de Nitto Personè

Is a lawyer specialized in International Trade Law and International Investment Law, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pavia and winner – as well as numerous scholarships during his university career – of the ‘Daniele Padovani’ prize ‘, awarded at national level by the Italian Society of International Law (SIDI) for the best thesis of the year in the field of private and procedural international law and the ‘Marco Ubertini’ prize, intended for young lawyers who have distinguished themselves in the qualification phase obtaining the highest vote (Avv. de Nitto Personè was the leader in the ranking in the District of Lecce).

He worked for the CLDP (Commercial Law Development Program) of the United States Department of Commerce and as a researcher at the University of Buenos Aires, he is an expert in the subject of International Commercial Law at the University of Pavia and is the holder of the course “International Arbitration” at the oldest college of merit in Italy still in operation, the Almo Collegio Borromeo of Pavia. Before founding Festina Lente Investments, he worked in the international litigation and arbitration departments of three leading Italian and international law firms, practicing in Milan. In his role, Mario has assisted Italian and foreign clients in international and domestic arbitration proceedings with a particular focus on international contracts and trade, construction contracts, renewable energy and corporate disputes; he has also developed specific expertise in investment arbitration.

Paolo Scoglio

Designer specialized in nature-symbiotic architectural design in Italy and Abroad, for
private clients, tour operators and public administrations. He has proudly achieved various
international collaborations with Design Studios and leading companies in the highly
innovative multi-material prefabrication field. A lecturer at IED and at Politecnico University
in Turin and Milan, describes his architectural projects as “natural devices”, characterized
by absolute symbiosis with the environment, by full landscape reversibility, by temporary
living end use, inspired by “short stay, smart living” spaces, unique in their usage of high-
tech and natural materials combinations. His itinerant design studio THE NEST, deals with
and specializes in consultancy and residential and touristic architecture projects all over
the world, characterizing each design with minimal green attributes, that showcase the
most advanced parametrical and bio-mimetically design.
