Locanda La Concia is an hidden gem nestled in the very center of Reggio Emilia: for over 4 centuries the town’s history and people stories have flowed around its walls.

It was born as a spinning mill next to the neighborhood old canals, then it was converted into a cloister and finally into a family dwelling. Now it is a place that hosts in order to give back sensations, experiences and memories.

The building itself gives you fully pleasure moments to live with, among eclectic scenarios of hospitality and casual dining, charming narratives and treasures to unveil.

The Bistrot

Locanda La Concia’s Bistrot is an idea of cuisine we were looking for but couldn’t find in our town Reggio Emilia.

A tiny and intimate place where you can enjoy a comfort food lunch, a glass of wine and something delicious and local to eat once you leave work, or taste an informal dinner where ingredients are brutal and enhanced.

Wines are naturals, locals and full of life, and we are delighted to serve artisanal sourdough bread.
