I am very excited about my experience at Oasis Dynamo Hotel, an eco luxury Resort that is spread over about 1000 hectares in the Tuscan / Emilian Apennines. Nature and uncontaminated woods starting from 600m in height up to 1200m.

Oasi Dynamo is nestled halfway between Lucca, Pistoia, Florence and Bologna, in the municipality of San Marcello Piteglio, a WWF affiliated nature reserve.

1,100 metres above sea level, this location overlooks the Pistoia Apennines, offering stunning views. The 1,000 hectares of outstanding natural beauty is a hub of sustainability, providing unique ecosystems to all it inhabits.

Sixteen luxury lodges, 14 Double and 2 Family, have been designed and built to engender continuity between the internal and external spaces.

Outside, large windows and a veranda let natural light flood in. Inside, with all the comforts and amenities you would expect of a luxury hotel, each and every detail is in keeping with the natural materials that surrounds us.

I arrive at the gate of the Resort where I leave the car to get on the minibus that will accompany me to the reception and I already breathe an air of authenticity, immersed in the greenery of unspoiled and rigorously preserved nature, not for nothing is it affiliated with the WWF as a guarantee of the same intent.
I really appreciate the welcome drink and the snack offered to me and I breathe deeply feeling a sense of well-being that only nature combined with the hospitality of the staff can give.

The hotel consists of 16 lodges all of light wood with a veranda equipped for relaxation and contemplation of nature, eco-sustainable and perfectly integrated into the greenery. They are very spacious, real apartments that make you feel at home.. and that’s important for a positive vacation. 

I decide to do some trekking immediately in the company of good and professional guides to understand the missionaries of this fantastic place. The Oasis Dynamo is implementing an environmental conservation program using strictly BIO agriculture and cattle breeding and pigs as well as horses used for environmental tourism activities with walks on paths designed by competent personnel.
The hours pass without realizing it and without feeling tired.

You can spot mouflons, deer, roe deer, wild boar and it is also possible to spot wolves. Here they can live protected, in harmony and all contribute to the conservation of the environment. What’s more fantastic? As I walk I think about what I left behind.. the traffic on the highway I just left, the noise and pollution of the cities and I feel happy and at peace with myself.

Finally we arrive at the lake..such a beautiful oasis of peace.

And what about the delicious aperitif organised on the shore at sunset?

The evening passes at one of the restaurants of the Hotel, called Le Felci, all of haute cuisine, with very good chefs and very determined in making known all the goodness of the territory and it is all internal production.

The fireplace is lit also ignites the desire to socialize with other guests or friends to share the experiences of the day and the many things learned!

Now I’m ready to retire and sleep in very comfortable beds in the whiteness of the sheets and with the scent of cleanliness that you breathe.

Waking up in the morning with the chirping of birds is also pleasant. The crisp mountain air that you breathe deeply and regenerates you.

Each lodge has e-bikes available and so I leave, always accompanied by expert guides for a climb to the summit. This sporting aspect is exciting because it combines physical and mental well-being with the pleasures of good food and both things make a holiday perfect! And this really is.

In fact, I return to the valley knowing that to welcome me there will be an appetising lunch with platters of cheeses and typical cold cuts produced within the Dynamo Oasis.

It was a unique experience to understand how important it is to respect and preserve this land of ours, our plants and our fauna that allows many species not to become extinct. Far from the frenetic pace of the city, I found the enthusiasm of a simple but at the same time refined holiday with attention to the smallest details.. to be repeated absolutely!
